Liability

The liability of Mauritius Airport Taxi only acts as an agent for the passengers in all functions pertaining to airport transfer, hotel transfer, tours, sightseeing tours and transportation of whatever nature, and assumes no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or inconveniences which may occur either by reason of defect, or as acts of government or other civil authorities (war, civil disturbances, strikes, etc.) or from any cause beyond Mauritius Airport Taxi control. We can accept no responsibility for the loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or other causes. Mauritius Airport Taxi and its suppliers reserve the right to cancel or rescheduled any travel or tours departure in accordance with operation requirements.

Price, Payment and Receipt/Voucher

Prices

Price quotations are subject to change without notice. If for any reason the price quoted is not correct, the team of Mauritius Airport Taxi will contact you for authorisation. Tips/gratuities, services not described in the product’s description and all other purchases of a personal nature are not included.

Payment

All airport transfers or any services provided by Mauritius Airport Taxi must be paid in full after the completion of your transfer. Charges in currencies other than Mauritian Rupee will be converted at the day's rate applicable on the date of your transfer.

Receipt/Voucher

  • After confirmation of a transfer, we will send an email confirmation/voucher. This voucher can to be printed, as a proof of offering of services, and can be presented to the driver during the pickup.
  • All information regarding the travellers should be correctly given at the time of booking.
  • All requests for modifications/amendments must be sent by email to Transferia Mauritius.
  • We cannot be held responsible for any problem that may happen if you do not receive or read carefully your confirmation voucher.

    Cancellations, refunds and procedure to cancel a booking

    Cancellation fee / refund

    A cancellation request can be made without any given reason. Your cancellation must be made at least two hours prior to the scheduled pick up time and date. Cancellation Procedure To request a cancellation, a written email to Mauritius Airport Taxi is required. We will not be responsible for any cancellation not confirmed back to you.

  • Each customer has to check he has the appropriate documents for his journey especially (but without limitation) if he booked transfers.
  • Smoking on board our vehicles is strictly forbidden.

    What is a private transfer?

    When you use our service, we offer you with a private transfer. This means the vehicle will not be shared with other passengers and will be only for you and those traveling with you.

    How many luggage can I bring?

    The amount of luggage you can bring depends on the number of person travelling and the type of transfer you select. By default, this is one large suitcase and one handbag per person. We however understand that you might have excess luggage ñ in that case, please confirm your requirements while making your reservation and we will allocate an appropriate vehicle where all your luggage will fit.

    What do I need to do when I arrive at the airport?

    After you have picked up your luggage and cleared the customs, proceed to the exit (arrival lounge). This is where your driver will be waiting for you. He will be holding a board/paper with your name written on it. Simply give him your printed receipt or your booking reference and heíll guide you to your vehicle.

    Deposit / Cancellation fee

    We do not take deposits and we do not charge for cancellations (There is no cancellation charges if you make a cancellation at least 2 hours before your agreed pick up.

    What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

    We monitor flight arrival time daily and we plan accordingly. So please give us your flight number so that we can monitor arrival times.

    How do we pay?

    You will pay directly to your driver after having reached your destination. If you book multiple trips with us, we recommend that you pay only the portion of the charge that is applicable to the trip you make.
